Air France/HOP! saw passengers on Paris Orly-Bordeaux service decline 21% year-on-year from Jan-2018 to Aug-2018, according to Air France-KLM GM France South West Frédéric Alory (France Bleu, 17-Sep-2018). Mr Alory attributed the decline to introduction of SNCF's LGV high speed rail service between the city pair, adding the drop was an "improved figure" compared to what was first expected. Mr Alory confirmed the carrier plans to maintain up to 10 daily frequencies on the route until at least Mar-2019.
