Air China switching Chengdu-London Gatwick service to London Heathrow in Apr-2019

Air China, via its official Weibo account, announced (12-Mar-2019) plans to transfer Chengdu-London Gatwick service to London Heathrow Airport, effective 02-Apr-2019. The carrier operates the route three times weekly with A330-200 aircraft. Air China said London Heathrow offers passengers "a more efficient and convenient flight experience" (Travel Weekly, 12-Mar-2019).
