Air China VP and GM North America Zhihang Chi, speaking at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit, stated (17-May-2018) the company is under "tremendous" yield pressure, with many constraints in China "especially infrastructure". Mr Chi said while Chinese airlines are positioned to generally make a healthy profit from domestic operations, international operations are "very tough".
