Air China announces Shenzhen-Melbourne service

Air China announced (11-May-2017) plans to launch three times weekly nonstop Shenzhen-Melbourne Tullamarine service with A330-200 aircraft from 20-Jun-2017, marking the first nonstop service between the cities - see Route Changes Table for more information. The aircraft is configured with 30 lie-flat bed business class seats and 207 economy class seats with a seat pitch of 32 inches. Air China operates three times weekly service from Melbourne to Beijing and four times weekly service between Melbourne and Shanghai, making Air China the only carrier to provide direct services from Melbourne to three out of four of the top cities in China.
