Air Chathams is 'showing a lot of interest in what Kāpiti has to offer'

Kāpiti Coast Chamber of Commerce held (20-Mar-2018) a meeting with the Kāpiti Coast District Council, Air Chathams and Todd Property to discuss next steps in attracting a new airline to Kāpiti, following the decision of Air New Zealand to halt service from 03-Apr-2018. Kāpiti Coast Chamber of Commerce stated it is estimated it will take between two to three months to work through some of the regulatory requirements for a new airline to operate from Kāpiti.
