Air Canada reportedly plans to expand the fleet of Air Canada rouge to counter competition from upcoming ULCCs, operating the additional aircraft on regional services (Canadian Press/Toronto Star, 16-Feb-2018). rouge reportedly plans to take delivery of several narrowbody aircraft in summer 2018, while its A320/A321 aircraft will have the flexibility to convert to high density configurations.
