Air Canada expects new loyalty plan to improve user experience

    Air Canada VP for loyalty and e-commerce Mark Nasr stated the carrier expects its new in-house loyalty programme will improve the user experience, once it becomes one entity and fully aligns with Air Canada as a business (Skift, 31-Jan-2018). As previously reported by CAPA, Air Canada decided not to renew its contract with Aeroplan operator Aimia in Jun-2020. Air Canada expects to develop a “more modern” platform that allows it to take customer data and use it to customise service offerings.
