Air Canada CEO sees benefit in supportive dynamic between small and large aircraft manufacturers

Air Canada CEO Calin Rovinescu stated the supportive dynamic between smaller and bigger aircraft manufacturers “can actually be a good thing”, so long as there is still “good competition” and airlines are not faced with a single source environment (Canadian Business, 16-Apr-2018). Mr Rovinescu added: “We like the fact that the C Series served as somewhat of a disruptor in the narrowbody segment of the market where you really do not see a tremendous amount of innovation for nearly three decades”.
