14 February, 2019

Air Canada SVP of regional markets and government relations Ferio Pugliese said the airline's new A220 fleet will mostly replace other aircraft, but will do "some new flying" (Routes Online, 12-Feb-2019). According to the CAPA Fleet Database, Air Canada has 45 A220-300s on order. The carrier does not expect to operate A220 aircraft on new routes before Jan-2020, with first aircraft expected for delivery in 2019.
