Air Astana to outfit all A321neos with lie flat business class seats

CAPA – Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: ‘Kazakh airline fleet: growth, and fleet renewal from major airframers’ stated (15-Apr-2018) Air Astana plans to configure its future A321neos in the same configuration as its A321LRs, featuring 16 lie flat business and 150 economy class seats. Air Astana‘s current A321ceos and lone A321neo have a fixed business class cabin of 28 recliner style seats, along with 147 to 151 economy seats (depending on the aircraft). The two A321neos that the airline is receiving later in 2018 will be in the same configuration, with 28 business and 151 economy class seats. Air Astana will retrofit its initial three A321neos into the 166 seat configuration with 16 lie flat business class seats as the aircraft come up for their first C level maintenance check. Air Astana’s existing A321ceos are being phased out and will not be retrofitted. [more – CAPA Analysis]
