Air Astana to accelerate growth

    CAPA – Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: ‘Kazakh airline fleet: growth, and fleet renewal from major airframers’ stated (15-Apr-2018) Air Astana plans to accelerate fleet expansion significantly over the next few years and deploy virtually all of the additional capacity in the international market. Air Astana‘s current 10 year business plan envisages the fleet doubling in size from 30 aircraft at the end of 2015 to 60 at the end of 2025. The carrier grew relatively slowly over the past six years, with its fleet expanding from 26 to 31 aircraft and traffic relatively flat in the 2013 to 2016 period. [more – CAPA Analysis]
