Air Astana CEO: A321LR provides 'huge flexibility'

Air Astana president Peter Foster stated the A321LR provides the airline with "huge flexibility in terms of range and capacity because it's not too large" (Business Traveller, 13-Oct-2019). Mr Foster noted it is feasible to deploy the aircraft to destinations such as Bangkok, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, London and Paris, in addition to shorter routes. Air Astana received its first A321LR in Sep-2019 and is expected to receive one in Nov-2019, one in Mar-2020, one in Jun-2020 and another three in late 2020 or 2021.
