Aigle Azur adopts new 'Packs of Services' ancillary distribution product

28 March, 2018

Aigle Azur reported (28-Mar-2018) on a pilot project with Amadeus to launch a new new ancillary service feature referred to as 'Packs of Services'. Aigle Azur said its goals were twofold, to increase its ancillary "basket size" by employing an omnichannel retailing strategy while subsequently enhancing the customer experience by simplifying the purchase process. Aigle Azur project coordinator Christophe Roussel said successful deployment of the feature means "we can easily create our own bundles which enables us to package two or more ancillary services in order to enhance upsell opportunities". Aigle Azur reported 56% average growth of the number of packs sold since launching ancillary bundles in Nov-2017. "We are seeing that our customers actually prefer bundled ancillary services as opposed to the 'a la carte' services... In fact, more and more of our customers are asking for bundles because they help save time", Mr Roussel said. [more - original PR]
