Aeroperu International signs LoI with SCAC to consider acquisition of Russian civil aircraft

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) and Aeroperu International founder and shareholder Cesar Cataño signed (16-Jul-2018) an LoI regarding the purchase of Russian civil aircraft. Mr Cataño and shareholders of the company are studying possibilities which are being offered on the market, given their plans for business expansion and extension of Aeroperu International's route network. SCAC stated Mr Cataño "took an interest" in the Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft, based on the "experience of flights on [the] SSJ100 and positive feedback from other operators of Latin America about this aircraft".
