Quito Secretary of Productive Development Alvaro Maldonado, via his personal Twitter account, announced (14-Feb-2018) Aeromexico plans to increase Mexico City-Quito frequency from daily to 10 times weekly effective from 13-Apr-2018. The carrier reported a 20% year-on-year increase in passenger in 2017, amid a 43% increase in seat capacity. Mr Maldonado added: “Quito already is a profitable destination to developing new air connectivity”.
