Aeroflot not planning to introduce new restrictions on baggage but will enhance control

Aeroflot, via its official Facebook, confirmed (21-Feb-2018) it is not planning to introduce additional restrictions or change the standards for cabin baggage, however the carrier is enhancing the control for baggage rules and conducting work to ensure compliance with the new federal rules on baggage. The carrier allows economy class passengers 10kg of cabin baggage with total dimensions of 115cm and business class passengers 15kg of baggage with total dimensions of 115cm. Passengers are also permitted to carry additional items, as outlined by the new federal rules. As previously reported by CAPA, the new federal rules for the transportation of baggage on air transport came into effect on 05-Nov-2017, guaranteeing each passenger a minimum cabin baggage allowance of 5kg and a list of additional items permitted onboard free of charge.
