AAPA: Asia Pacific airlines handled 281m international pax in first nine months of 2019

Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) reported (24-Oct-2019) Asian airlines in aggregate carried 281 million international passengers over the first nine months of 2019, an increase of 4.3% year-on-year. Asian airlines saw overall demand for air cargo fall by 5.8% during the first nine months of the year, with the outlook "remaining subdued in the near term" according to AAPA director general Andrew Herdman.
