Airlines for America (A4A) announced (15-Jun-2020) member carriers will be implementing the following guidelines for face mask policies:
- Preflight communications: Each airline will communicate its individual face covering policy to passengers, which may require acknowledgement by passengers during the check in process;
- Onboard announcements: Crew members will communicate specific details regarding the carrier's face covering policy to passengers, including consequences for violation of policy;
