Allegiant adjusts operations to reflect 'near zero demand', prepares for 'long term slow recovery'

Allegiant Travel Company EVP and COO Scott Sheldon said the carrier is focused on ensuring the safety of passengers and crew members during the coronavirus pandemic, as well as "rapidly adjusting...daily operations to reflect a near zero demand environment" and "positioning our operational cost structure for long term slow recovery" (Seeking Alpha, 12-May-2020). The carrier is also concentrating on the development of an "aircraft storage programme for potential fleet management scenarios as the recovery curve progresses".
